The shooter who went out of control inside a Louisville bank messaged to his family only minutes before the slaughter, saying "I love you" — as his flat mate said he had no clue about his dear companion's dangerous arrangement

Before Connor Sturgeon, 25, stormed into the Old National Bank on Monday with an assault rifle and opened fire on his coworkers, a family lawyer revealed the man's final message of love.

In the meantime, Sturgeon's roommate has revealed that he was unaware of his close friend's involvement in the massacre, which resulted in five deaths and eight injuries, including a police officer who is still in critical condition.

His lawyer told the Daily Mail that the roommate, Dallas Whelan, who is 24 years old, has been helping with the investigation into the mass shooting.
